The festival is once again in the beautiful coastal community of San Felipe, Baja California on the shores of the Sea of Cortez, at the world class golf and beach resort La Ventana del Mar, El Dorado Ranch, www.laventanadelmar.com.

Since 2007 the Blues & Arts Festival has been the setting the standard for blues music festivals in Baja. This year the festival promises to raise the bar with as many as 13 blues bands from throughout western United States and Mexico.  In addition to great music, the festival this year expects as many as 40 artist exhibiting a huge variety of fine art from jewelry and collectables, to painting and sculptures. Thousands of pieces of art will be on display, and available to browse throughout the festival.

All the proceeds from the Baja Blues & Arts Festival goes back into the community, specifically the children and those in need of medical care. From the past seven festivals the Baja Blues & Arts has raised enough money to cover the expense of hundreds of ear, nose and throat procedures and surgeries, help to build and support two local orphanages, and provided hundreds of eyeglasses to the communities vision impaired. “Not only are attendees going to get one of the greatest festivals,” say co-promoter John Pack, “but the attendees will have the satisfaction of knowing that their money is going to help others.”

For anyone who is a fan of blues music and the arts, this will be a must attend festival. Come listen to the regions best blues musicians and see the region's best artists at one of the nicest venues in Baja. Don’t miss what is sure to be the festival of the season.
